📦 The 5 products planned
Each product targets a different format and buyer type. Pricing is pre-set and won't be adjusted during the experiment based on performance — I want to know what sells at these price points, not what sells when I panic-discount.
AI Prompt Bible for Creators
100 battle-tested ChatGPT and Claude prompts for content creators — organised by use case: captions, scripts, emails, pitches.
AI Content Calendar — Notion Template
A Notion workspace for planning and tracking AI-assisted content: weekly themes, prompt slots, performance tracking.
The Faceless Creator Playbook
A 40-page ebook on building a faceless content brand using AI tools — scripts, visuals, scheduling, monetisation.
Side Hustle Idea Generator — AI Pack
50 AI-validated side hustle ideas with market size estimates, required tools, and a 30-day launch plan for each.
Learn AI in 7 Days — Mini Course PDF
A structured 7-day self-study guide for non-technical professionals who want to start using AI tools immediately.
📊 What I'm tracking
Per product: views, conversions, revenue, and time to create. Overall: total revenue, best-performing format (ebook vs template vs prompt pack), and whether the "AI-made" label helped or hurt sales. Traffic source: organic Gumroad discovery vs social vs site referral — testing which drives actual purchases with zero ad spend.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Will you disclose that the products are AI-made?
Yes — every Gumroad listing will clearly state that the content was AI-generated and human-reviewed. This is both ethically correct and part of the experiment: I want to know whether buyers care. There's a growing market for AI-transparency, and hiding it would make the results useless for anyone who wants to replicate this honestly.
Why Gumroad and not Etsy or another marketplace?
Gumroad has the lowest friction for listing digital products — no approval queue, no category restrictions, free to start, and built-in discovery. Etsy has been increasingly restrictive about AI-generated digital products. For a 30-day experiment where speed matters, Gumroad is the right call. If results are good, Etsy is the logical next platform to test.
How long does each product take to create?
The experiment will document creation time per product. My estimate going in: prompt pack (2–3 hours), Notion template (3–4 hours), ebook (6–8 hours), mini course (8–10 hours). If the ebook takes 20 hours, that changes the economics significantly. Time tracking is part of the experiment data.
What if nothing sells?
That's the most likely outcome for at least some products — and it's valuable data. If none of the 5 products sell a single copy in 30 days with no paid promotion, the conclusion is that organic Gumroad discovery alone isn't viable without an existing audience. The experiment is designed to test the channel, not just the products.
